It’s not over yet…

Firstly: Happy New Year! Yeah, I know. I screwed up. I’m embarrassed enough, you don’t need to tell me. I resurrected the blog only to let it die another time. That’s not the idea at all, I’m aware of that. So, here comes the second try. If you haven’t lost faith in me totally yet, I’m very pleased – or, if you’re a new reader, I’d like to ask you to stay, because there will be things coming here worth reading…provided you’re interested in New Zealand and the world nowadays.

The plan is the following: I’ll first finish off with my short travel reports here while I was holding the working holiday visa. Things have changed significantly since the middle of last year, and I’m living here now. It doesn’t necessarily mean NZ will be my home for good, but at least for the next couple of years! And it will be an adventure, eventually. Once the reports are finished, I’ll go ahead with the “Heeeaps” series as well as “NZ trivia”, and in between I’ll comment on current situations in NZ, life in NZ as young European and whatever else comes to my mind. Maybe I’ll extend the blog topic-wise for culture, music, … – who knows! Time will tell.

Additional to what I’ve written earlier in April, I decided to split the future contents into both German and English. I’m not too sure at this stage how this will look like, but the idea is to write German posts on explicit differences and/or facts that are mainly of interest for Germans (and possibly other “Central Europeans”). I know that’s as clear as mud, but – stay tuned.

To make this all a bit more professional, I’ll introduce categories, tags and an updated design shortly. I’ll also change the menu language to English very soon.

Thanks for your attention.
